The Area |
![]() Most of the photos are of the Mid-Northeastern section of Ontario, Canada known as the BLUE SKY REGION. The Blue Sky Region is home to over 35 communities from quaint towns of barely 100 residences to a healthy city of over 52,000 people. Not only are the towns throughout the Blue Sky Region culturally and economically unique, so too are they geographically. From the rolling hills of the Almaguin Highlands in the south to the Temagami Old-Growth Forests in the north. Similarly, the relatively flat and fertile lands of West Nipissing are quite different than the mountainous Upper Laurentians of the Mattawa area. |
